The Print & Electronic Media Reporters Association – INDIA (PEMRA INDIA) (Non-Profit Organization) is working and fighting to protect for freedom of expression, under the valuable guidance of Mr.V. Sudhakar (National President)

Print & Electronic Media Reporters Association is fighting ceaselessly for the Journalists Welfare, rights of media worldwide/from last three years, and also working for professional development for Writers, Editors, Journalists, Publishers, Correspondents, Reporters, Freelance writers.

For raising the standards of journalists we are in Organizing seminars, bringing coaching to journalists who needs feedback & training to increase their proficiency in the industry, dedicated to defending, protects, and improves the rights and safety of the journalists & promotion of the media freedom world-wide. Protects and improves the rights of journalist’s intellectuals & writers, tallies attack on journalists & documents the worst places to be the journalist.

There is no doubt that 2017, 18, 19 was one of our most challenging years. There were fears about journalists’ security, fears about their jobs and there is still uncertainty about the future.

But everywhere our ASSOCIATION members did bold things and stood up for journalism. Our cohesion and solidarity give us an enormous incentive to feel pride in who we are and what we can achieve in these trying time. And everywhere our ASSOCIATION are confident and decisive about building their future.

We know that we have it in our power to come through this stronger if we remain focused and stand up for each other. PEMRA INDIA has main aim to introduce a culture to understand the social, economic, political, technological and educational changes in the practices of journalism and its professional identity for Young Journalists. (PEMRA INDIA) is committed to mobilize the young journalists across the country with representation from all provinces, main cities, and major towns from both electronic and print media of national media houses.

Acknowledging the lack of organized professional journalism coaching in India (PEMRA INDIA) provides training to Young journalists in order that they’ll skillfully communicate regarding challenges given by chop-chop changing circumstances within the state, country and round the globe and work for the Promotion of Peace. Workshops, seminars, and special training programmers held on numerous topics in which we have a tendency to share our information and experience with young journalists.

A core focus is on making awareness among journalists regarding problems like freedom of expression, justice, religious harmony, terrorism, democracy, gender discrimination and promoting Peace. Particularly, (PEMRA INDIA) is committed to providing training to journalists in remote/rural areas of the country by change their information and skills with reference to regional journalism, regional coverage, features, column writing, and work reportage. (PEMRA INDIA) helps rural journalists learn about their rights, and strategies about how to protect them if violated. (PEMRA INDIA) additionally reaches out to the general public, furthermore – a media campaign is designed to worry the worth of journalism in “eradicating the menace of corruption and other evils within the society.”
